Nurturing and safe atmosphere – Ofsted notes that “Pupils feel safe and trust staff. Incidents of bullying are dealt with effectively.”

Powerful values – inspectors reported that the school’s values,” permeate into every aspect of daily life.”

Reception at Meadhurst: what to expect

Starting school is an exciting step. At Meadhurst, we want every child to feel happy, confident and ready to begin their learning journey from the very start.

In Reception, children are supported in a friendly school where learning is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to feed curiosity and inspire learning, helping every child to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.

Children in Early Years benefit from a nurturing start to school life, with opportunities to explore, discover and build strong foundations for the future. Our approach helps children settle quickly, develop independence and enjoy learning from the very beginning.
