School Uniform

The uniform is an important part of being a pupil at Meadhurst Primary School.  Our expectations of the students’ appearance must remain high at all times. All students are expected to wear the full school uniform, preferably with items that have the school logo, which can be purchased online from our supplier, Primary School Uniforms - School Bells - School Bells, The Uniform Experts (schoolbellsuniforms.co.uk)

 Winter Uniform

  • Teal sweatshirt or cardigan 

  • White polo shirt  preferably with school logo                                                           

  • Black knee length skirt or pinafore

  • Black school trousers

Summer Uniform

  • Teal sweatshirt or cardigan

  • White polo shirt preferably with school logo

  • Black school trousers or Black school shorts

  • Green gingham summer school dress

Coats

Coats should be named– sportswear such as hoodies and sweat tops are not allowed as coats. A waterproof, reversible logo jacket is available from our Uniform Supplier, Primary School Uniforms - School Bells - School Bells, The Uniform Experts (schoolbellsuniforms.co.uk) this is not compulsory.

Shoes

School shoes should be sensible, with low heels. Boots, fashion shoes, trainers or strappy sandals are not permitted, even if they are black. Black trainers can be worn for PE and lunchtime activities. Children will be asked to change footwear if it is not appropriate – e.g. plimsoles.

Socks

Socks should be black in winter and white in summer, either ankle or knee length, or black tights. Trainer socks are not permitted.

PE Kit

 

 

Bags

Each pupil is required to have a PE kit bag and either a book bag or ruck sack ( depending on the year group your child is in).

Reception - Yr 2 pupils use Book Bags or rucksack. 

Yr 3 - Yr 6 pupils use a rucksack.

                                       Hairstyles

  • Long (shoulder length) hair must be tied up.

  • Hair accessories should be smaller than 10cm and either black hair colour or teal.

  • We do not allow patterns to be shaved in to hair.
