About the Nursery

Welcome to the Meadhurst Nursery, providing early years education for 3-4 year olds in Orca, Blue Whale and Humpback Whale classes. We are able to take 20 children for 30 hours and up to 64 children for the 15 hour sessions all of which offer a nurturing and exciting learning environment.

At Meadhurst Nursery, our exceptional staff aim to provide a safe, happy, varied and stimulating environment where your child will thrive.  We offer your child the opportunity to learn and explore using a wide range of activities and equipment covering all areas of the early years curriculum, providing the best possible foundations for their future. Our setting is in a large, light and airy classroom with a bespoke outdoor area where your child can play, explore and learn all year round, bringing the outdoors in.

Each child is unique and we work in partnership with parents and carers to deliver the best environment for every child that attends.

During term time, we are open from 9.00 am to 3:00 pm five days a week.

You can choose for your child to bring a packed lunch or you can opt for your child to have a hot meal. Meals are prepared on site and you can choose from the menu on their behalf. This option is available to our Nursery Children at a cost and details of how you can pay can be viewed here.

Wrap around care is available on site before and after each session at an additional cost. For more information about this please speak to the Nursery Manager or School office.
