House Teams

Every child from Reception to Year 6 is in a house team.

The four house teams are all precious jewels: Diamond (yellow), Ruby (red), Emerald (green) and Sapphire (blue).

Children are placed in a house upon entering the school. Siblings are taken into account.

Children can earn ‘housepoints’ for good work, being helpful and positive behaviours among other things. Each week the housepoints for the whole school are added up and the winning team is announced in assembly.

House teams are a fantastic opportunity for children to feel part of a team as they each contribute to the totals.

Children will wear house colour t-shirts for PE to help them compete and challenge each other as they learn together. 

We have dedicated house captains who organise a range of house competitions each half term to help children value and feel pride in their house team.
